Frequently Asked Questions
What do I get?
A short save-the-date or wedding invite — body, closing, optional date & venue, an alt version, and a send tip. Pick a vibe and Soft, Classic, or Playful tone. Edit before you share, copy the text, or share as Invite, Suite, Story, or RSVP.
Can I change the wording?
Yes. After you generate, use Edit before share to tweak the note, date, venue, closing, and accent. The card updates as you type. Reset draft restores the original generator wording.
What do Invite, Suite, Story, and RSVP mean?
Those are share-card styles for the same draft — Invite is the classic invitation card, Suite is a paper suite with a double border, Story is a tall story invite, and RSVP is a soft reply keepsake.
How is the invite written?
Your from/to names, optional date and venue, vibe, and tone seed a deterministic starting text from Soft, Classic, or Playful packs for Save the date, Wedding invite, or Rehearsal dinner. Same inputs give the same draft; change vibe or tone for a different lane.
Do I have to pick a date or venue?
No. Leave date, time, and venue blank for a wording-only invite. Add them when you want the invitation card to show when and where.
What does RSVP mean?
RSVP comes from the French “répondez s’il vous plaît” — please reply. On an invite it asks guests to confirm whether they’re coming. Some drafts mention RSVP in the wording; you can edit or remove that line before you share. Soft RSVP is also a share-card style.
How is this different from Congrats Note or Vow Drafts?
Congrats Note is a short celebration ping (engagement, new job, soft win). Save-the-Date / Wedding Invite is the guest-facing hold-the-day or formal invite text. Vow Drafts are what you say at the altar — not what you send to guests.
Do you store the names I enter?
Names stay on your device for this calculation. Nothing is saved on our servers unless you choose to share your result yourself.
