This or That: Couple Edition — Free Two-Player Game | SecretBond

Play This or That: Couple Edition on one device. Choose a topic, take private turns on eight fun either-or prompts, then reveal your choices and start a conversation. Free, no signup.

This or That: Couple Edition is a free same-device game for two people. Pick Everyday magic, Date-night picks, or Dream a little, then choose between two options on eight prompts. Player 1 answers privately and passes the device; Player 2 makes independent choices before the shared reveal.

The reveal shows where your picks match and where they differ. That count is not a compatibility score or a verdict about your relationship. A different answer is a chance to ask what the other person pictured, while a shared pick might become a plan for later.

The entire game runs in your browser without an account or backend. Names and choices stay in page memory during the round, then disappear when you refresh or leave. You can choose another topic and play again on the same device.

How it works

  1. Choose one of three topic packs and add optional player names.
  2. Player 1 privately makes eight either-or picks, then passes the device.
  3. Player 2 makes their own picks without seeing Player 1’s choices.
  4. Reveal both sets of choices, compare, and talk about a surprise.

What you get

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you play This or That: Couple Edition?

Choose a topic pack, then Player 1 privately picks one of two options for eight prompts. Pass the same device to Player 2, who makes their own picks. Reveal the choices together and talk about the ones that surprised you.

Do both people need a phone or an account?

No. This is a pass-and-play game for two people on one phone, tablet, or computer. Names are optional and there is no signup.

Can Player 2 see Player 1’s picks?

No. The handoff screen and second turn do not display Player 1’s choices. Both sets of choices appear only after Player 2 finishes all eight prompts.

Is the number of matching picks a compatibility score?

No. It is just a count of choices you happened to share in one playful round. Different picks can start the most interesting conversation; neither result judges your relationship.

Are our names or choices saved?

No. Picks live only in the current page session on your device. Refreshing or leaving the page clears the game, and nothing is uploaded to SecretBond.
